Dolla-Dolla Pils PDF Print E-mail

Fresh German Pilsners are tough to find on this side of the big pond. So, to satisfy a frequent craving for a product from his genealogical roots, our brewer pulls together the malt, hops, water, and yeast from the Rehm region of Germany to create this fantastically crisp, refreshing, and highly quaffable German Pilsner. Prost!

In Yo' Face PDF Print E-mail

In Yo’ Face Amber Ale is a bit of a hybrid between an American Amber Ale and an American IPA. Malty and roasty characters for the American Amber Ale portion are derived from the crystal and chocolate malts while the hop choices and rates bring the citrusy notes and bitterness expected in an American IPA. One might call it a Roasty IPA or a Hoppy Amber Ale, but we call it just plain TASTY! Cheers!

Nothing Ordinary About It PDF Print E-mail

This ale is far from "ordinary" as the style might suggest. The use of English pale malt for the base with two varieties of crystal and special roast provides a satisfying and complex malty backbone upon which the English hop varietals are layered. Each hop was chosen for its specific flavor and aroma contributions and suitability for blending. Challenger provides a distinct spicy character, Goldings/EKG provides an earthy component, Fuggles supplies a slight grassy note, and both Challenger and Target provide sufficient bitterness to balance the malt. Cheers!

O'Remy's McReddy Red PDF Print E-mail

Our Irish Red Ale has a caramel, bready, malty sweetness in the nose with a noticeably malty flavor balanced by a measured hop bitterness and barely detectable earthy, spicy hop flavor. The earthy hop flavor balances the maltiness for a bit, but the malt prevails - making you want another dose. Sláinte!

Whale's Tail PDF Print E-mail

This pale ale is based on the American Pale Ale style, meant to be refreshing and highly quaffable. The American two-row malt provides a perfect canvas for the specialty malts and hops. The Crystal 40 adds a light caramel note, but not enough to overpower and the German speciality malts impart a pleasantly malty, toasty, and biscuity aroma and flavor. The California ale yeast lends a clean and crisp fermentation profile to allow the hops to come through. Magnum hops provide a balancing bitterness while Cascade and Centennial throw in some undeniably American citrus, grapefruit, and resiny characteristics. Cheers!

XSB PDF Print E-mail

The XSB has pleasant English hop (lightly resiny, musty, and caramelized citrus/fruit) and yeast characteristics (add’l bready and dark fruit), but is more balanced toward the malty and caramel sweetness along with a slight dark toasted toffee-like character, followed by a noticeable and satisfying alcohol warmth. Our XSB is a bit stronger than expected in the style, but we’ve found it to be a well-balanced English ale that pleases those who are looking for something a little stronger and more rich than an Ordinary or Special Bitter (the medium-light & medium bodied brethren of the Extra Special Bitter), but still easily manageable after a few pints. Cheers!
