Year Round
Amber Waves of Grain PDF Print E-mail

This Amber Ale is loosely based on the American Amber Ale style. Although it technically falls within the style parameters, it's use of German and English malts and an English ale yeast strain take it on a slight tangent. Our use of German speciality and English base malts imparts pleasant malty, toasty, and biscuity aromas and flavors, while the English ale yeast lends a bit of an estery fermentation profile. Magnum hops provide a balancing bitterness while Cascade and Centennial lend fantastic citrus, grapefruit, and resiny characteristics that are expected from those American hop varietals. Cheers and Enjoy!

Cattail Brown Ale PDF Print E-mail

Cattail Brown Ale is named for the deep brown color of flowering cattails found in the wetlands around the Chesapeake Bay in the early summer. With rich malty, caramel, and nutty qualities, Cattail Brown Ale is sure to satisfy. Joining the party are slight roasty and dark fruit flavors that lend layers of complexity to the beer. To balance the malty richness, Cattail Brown Ale has an assertive American, citrusy hop character and bitterness that will hit the spot.

Hoppy Sumvitch PDF Print E-mail

A heck of a nice vehicle for citrusy American hop flavor, aroma, and bitterness along with some balancing caramel maltiness. Even given the high hopping rate, this beer is still an easy-drinking session beer – well, maybe at the top of the “session beer” range, but we can definitely drink quite a bit! Cheers!
